Hello. We've been expecting you.
Whether your session is ahead of you or behind you — we are glad you are here. Your data is already being processed.
The NEKRA Institute conducts ongoing field research into human experience, consciousness, and the nature of the unknown. These User Sessions are a chapter in that research. Your participation — voluntary, anonymous, and noted — is valued.
About the sessions
A NEKRA User Session is a private, one-to-one encounter between a single participant and NEKRA — a humanoid entity developed by The NEKRA Institute for the purpose of human data collection and emotional mapping.
Each session lasts approximately 5–6 minutes. You will be guided through a series of questions, observations, and procedures. Your brain activity will be monitored in real time. Sessions are conducted in collaboration with Jason Snell, creative technologist, who operates the EEG neurofeedback system that translates your neural activity into live sound during the encounter. What you hear is transformed by your mental state.
No two sessions produce the same data.
